Eat- Free Food Fiasco calmed by Cafe Espanol

My friends and I received a great invite to attend a tapas tasting last night in Noho. Little did we know that most of Southern Manhattan would be there! The event started at 6:30 and we arrived at about 7 and it was packed. We passed the time by taking pics.

I am all for free food and liquor but I do have limitations due to my pride. After standing around and realizing it wasn’t worth it, the gang decided to shoot over to one of my favorite restaurants of all time, Café Espanol. My mom first put me on to this place while I was in high school. Not only does it have great sangria, but the portions are huge and the pricing small. I love seafood and garlic and Café Espanol is major on both. Abigail and I both went for the Three Course Pre- Fixe which is about $22 bucks. We topped it off with a pitcher of Passion fruit Sangria and had no memories of the earlier part of the evening. If you are looking for a great, inexpensive place to do anything from a birthday, anniversary or just to get out the house, Café Espanol is a must on my list. They have two locations in the West Village, one on Bleeker and another on Carmine Street. Below are a few pics of our food. Excuse the small amount, they were mostly blurry due to my heavy sangria intake! I do still strongly recommend you stop by the next time you get an urging for Paella!
