Shop- Real Estate Open House- Forte Condos

A few months ago I passed by Forte Condos on Ashland and Fulton Street right on the Fort Greene Downtown Brooklyn Border. One of the tallest residential buildings in the neighborhood, if not the tallest, the Sales Office of Forte holds an Open House every Wednesday from 6-8pm. I love real estate and my mom and I go to open houses on the regular. Abigail is into design and I thought we should hit up the open house to see what all the talk was about.

I love light, my apartment has three exposures so when we stepped into the model apartments on the 26th floor of Forte I was truly taken back. With unobstructed views for miles, you can see the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridge and a large majority of Northern Brownstone Brooklyn. I am usually not a fan of newer construction preferring pre war however, the fixtures and quality of construction of Forte totally changed my mind.

Forte used a great strategy to draw potential buyers. Thier staging was impeccable and gave me ideas to redecorate - Abigail almost fainted at the high level of skill and detail the interior designer used. I was in love with the windows. Check out a couple of pics of us enjoying the decor.

Last, we headed to the roof where they served Rum Punch and pineapple salsa. Forte is under the 421a tax abatement for fifteen years which is an excellent incentive for buyers. With prices ranging from about $550k for a one bedroom to a little under $1 mil for a three bedroom convertible four. Forte is pretty affordable in comparison to a similar buildings in Manhattan. Sales Offices are open 7 days a week and if you are coming from BAM or in the area on a Wednesday after work or Sunday from 1-3 take a look at what Forte has to offer.
