Weekend Wrap-Eco Friendly Fashion, Glass and Bridal Market Week

I usually rest for the weekend and spend Monday thru Thursday soaking in my fashion and lifestyle reporting. I changed some things up this weekend- Aha! Friday night, I headed over with Aisha to GuestHouse for a very Eco-Friendly event. The Trunk Show: Elephant Art Fashion Show and Auction was part mixer, part runway show, part auction. To learn more go to www.elephantart.com I choose to stick with the theme and wore a 100% organic cotton strapless dress from H&M. Since the dress was summer, I layered a strectch turtleneck underneath and Voila, trans seasonal clothing! After the show, we headed towards the west Village to have dinner at Cafe Espanol and made an impromptu detour into sexy lounge spot Glass on Tenth Ave. I'd never been but I loved it, we had champagne- the fashionista drink of choice we danced to classic Bad Boy Hits " I thought I told that we won't stop" took pics, and then headed over to Cafe Espanol which was packed.

Bridal Market week took over the Intercontinental Barclay Hotel on the East Side. Sort of like Fashion week but with more buyers and less press. Gowns where displayed in the lobby and only three fashion shows were held. Hotel rooms are occupied by wedding gown designers including Watters, Matthew Christoper and St. Pucchi. It is already great to see how fashion translates to Bridal.

There goes my weekend recap- stay tuned for more post throughout the week.
