B.O.R.N. Again Fashionista

Last night, I made my first foray past 59th street in quite some time. I went far my friends, all the way up to 125th Street to visit B.O.R.N., a soulful retail awakening!

Nestled on the celebrated urban brick road, B.O.R.N. which stands for Borrowed, Owned, Refurbished and New- so haute, is the brainchild of Jonathan Bodrick, native son of Brooklyn who believes that clothing makes the best impression. A collector of vintage since the age of nine, Jonathan, who has a very Warhol vibe, has been holding shopping events for the past few years and after realizing there was fashion void Uptown, he decided to open B.O.R.N. I drooled over a leopard dress and lusted after the rainbow eye candy accessories. The real stunner was a vintage Vuitton suitcase-To Die For. Note to all, the 60's and 70's rocked!

If, you still haven't been able to get into vintage, just note that B.O.R.N. also carries, modern pieces made from vintage fabrics, accessories as well as a sprinkle of new lines. Frugal frannies better pop in. The prices are great. Check out some of the pics from my visit and to both my Uptown residents as well as nationwide Fashionistas stop by B.O.R.N. A.S.A.P.!
