Selling It On the Net

You don't have to drag all your worldly possessions outside and pray for a rainy day to make some dough from your closet. With EBay and Craigslist, you can let the world take a bid or look into your closet for their own fashion cravings. Here are a few tips for selling your stuff on the world wide web.

1. Visuals, Visuals Visuals
You can never have enough images of your item. Front, back, up down zoom- you get the picture. People want to see what they are purchasing!

2. Study The Site
Before you post anything check out listings that are similar to yours. That way you could

3. It's All About the Benjamins
If you are selling something on Craigslist keep it cash no other way. Checks are just as worthy as Turkish dollars so keep it strictly cash. EBay is more flexible with Pay Pal being the easiest way to receive a payment, you just have to set up a separate account.
4. Words are Powerful
After of course the actual image, descriptive writing will lead to the best sale.

5. Don't Get Ridic With Shipping
EBay is notorious for certain sellers to price gauge on shipping. Twelve dollars for pencils- well I'm exaggerating but yeah you get the point. If you have to ship your goods go on USPS.com or FedEx.com to get a fair pricing on your goods- don't jack it up, it's bad Karma!
