What I've Been Sleeping On

I have to admit, I have been sleeping on T.J. Maxx. There is no explanation as to why, I have not placed the wonderful T.J. Maxx on my list of recessionistas stores. Last week during a major rainstorm and an accident involving my favorite pair of Jack Rogers, I strolled into T.J. Maxx and it was well worth it! All, I can say is great merchandising and excellent labels. When you first walk in, I was smothered with Marni- yes Marni, a slinky red Valentino gown and a lot of Alice + Olivia. None of the pieces had that I've been tried on a thousand times look, nor where the prices crazy. Well, I take that back, there was a silver Burberry coat going for $2900 but hey if a girl can dream so can T.J. Maxx. A stores shoe selection is make or break with me and at T.J. Maxx, the selection was hit or miss. I saw maybe two or three pairs that really stuck out at me three max. The home section is excellent. Sofa tables, candy jars and throw pillows are carried at T.J. Maxx and they look like high end pieces.

T.J. Maxx is now on my list of Fab and Frugal places. Tell me about our fave TJ Maxx experience!
