Fashion Week Review: Part 2

There was so much glamour and fugly mixed into eight days, I had to break my review into two. So check it out The Good, The Blah and The Fugly 2.0.

Oddest Celebrity at a Fashion Show
Gerard Butler at Rebecca Minkoff

I watched the whole thing go down as paparazzi snapped photo after photo of Lauren Conrad and RHONJ, Danielle Staub. But 300 alumni and Jennifer Aniston piece, Butler looked like a regular Moe checking out a fashion show by accident.

Best Party
Reebok at Skyline Studios

Hands down the Reebok party at Skyline Studios was the best party of the week. It wasn't super crowded, the bar wasn't forty deep, the music was fab. Voguettes, hip-hopers and designers spotted the room. To top it off, you gotta love free flowing apps!

Best Styled Runway Presentation

So what if it's swimwear. It was the best styled show in the Tents. It was visually orgasmic. Models looked like women, swimwear looked like couture and guest left with electricity in the air.

Best Closing of a Show
Coco Rocha at ChoCheng

Cho Cheng gave us Paris with a closing bridal gown on supermodel Coco Rocha. I didn't feel that the NY crowd truly appreciated it. The closing reminding me of Lacroix, Valentino and YSL at couture.

Best Goodie Bag
Toni Fransesc
Toni gave away Salerm hair product samples and Tous cosmetics. The two lipsticks from Tous I wore the rest of Fashion Week.

Show with Coolest Guest
Haleh Nematzadeh

Haleh kicked off her show a day before the official start of fashion week. Held in a gallery on Bowery, her crowd was super cool, super fun and super fierce. Lydia Hearst opened her show.

Okay my fellow fashionsitas, I am done with my own review. Stay tuned for more Fashion Week info including, my outfits, what saves you during Fashion Week and also my top five points to enjoying fashion week. Stay tuned!
