Fashion Week is all about the clothes on and off the runway. You had better believe that celebs, crashers, editors alike put major thought into their outfits. Imagine Easter Sunday, The Kentucky Derby and the Oscars and you have got some of the outfits at NYC Fashion Week. I did not buy one thing for Fashion Week. I simply pulled out pieces that have either never been worn or haven't been worn in some time. I popped some tags but they where old tags. Seriously, I was pretty happy that the inner shop hound in me was subdued. Instead I used a little imagination, and an overflowing closet and came up with some pretty cute combos. Check out my five favorite outfits for Fashion Week and tell me what you think.

This is post Gottex show at the Reebok party. There goes that belt again- thanks Linda! My mom thinks I wear too many colors, see above. So I toned it down and kept it muted up until my feet. I have had that top for over five years. If you get up close, you will see it has sequin at the neckline. My uncle loved that balloon skirt, I call it my year round skirt. Thanks Mom for the bag!

Want to talk about a major throwback- this jacket is ten years old. Back when Banana Republic put out a leather blazer every season. This is why it is so hard for me to throw out or give away anything. I pull some old pieces from the back of the closet and make it look new as hell. This dress is another H&M masterpiece. It is a great abstract floral print, you don't see the shoes but they are these super cute booties from Zara another '08 purchase. Also thanks to Geren Ford for the scarf, it was part of the goodie bag at S/S 09 shows.
