Dress Me Up

Ecliptica FW 2010

Baubles and sequins and leather oh my! Ecliptica, a Puerto Rican design duo consisting of sisters, gave a solid collection of siren inspired dresses and gowns. Project Runway alumni, Korto Momolu had a Combs family reunion. Justin and Janice "Mamma" Combs sat front row while, Mysa Hilton was backstage styling the models. Momolu's twist on classics was front and center. With influence of her African roots and the international nomadic lifestyle, her pieces were bright pops of color on a gloomy day. The last show of the night was for the guys. Perry Ellis, showed high powered leather trenches in deep greys, fitted sweaters and sturdy flannel blazers. It was solid and stellar and was even liked by T.O., who I caught taking notes of his favorites.
