Salt Does A Body Good

 A few weeks ago, I woke up with an epic back spasm. It  was so intense, I could neither lay down nor stand up. I cried crocodile tears it was so   unbearable.  Stretching, didn't work, massage didn't work and the pain pulsated  through my entire body.  One thing my grandmother always taught me was if something ached, a nice warm bath would make it all better.  I pulled myself from the bed slowly and went to my bathroom.  I ran a warm bath and added a drop of Jojoba oil, and a combination of Morton Natural Epsom Salt with Lavender and Redmond Bath Salt Plus.  I slowly placed myself in my tub  and used my body brush to lightly massage the area where the spasms were. Laying in the tub I let the natural healing agents of the oils moisturize my skin and the salts released toxins from my body, penetrated that spasm  and the lavender soothed my mind and my body. After about a half an hour I was able to stand upright, my body felt relieved and refreshed and that deep agonizing pain was gone. Afterwards, I was able to take a long deep  and well deserved nap.
