New York & Company Uses Fashionable Flash Mob to Debut Eva Mendes Collection

New York & Company, the fashion retailer led a powerful processional of their Eva Mendes collection on the streets of New York City this past Tuesday. The floral flash mob kicked off first on the steps of the New York Public Library and then headed south to the Flatiron district where models made a spectacular entrance with a deejay blasting New York themed tunes by Frank Sinatra and Jay-Z. The scene was high impact as models made Madison Square Park their runway.  Showcasing the collection which is new mom, Eva Mendes' second with the company was, a color wash of oxblood, magenta and pinks along with floral based prints. The female friendly silhouettes played on the body of a real woman who wants to highlight her waist and hips in a sexy yet modest way.

With New York Fashion Week coming to an end, this grandiose but pedestrian friendly exhibition was just the right way to get a native New Yorker like myself intrigued and a little infatuated with the Eva Mendes collection for New York & Company.
