Four Denim Trends You Should Rock Now

Denim is my wardrobe necessity. Chambray, distressed, jackets, skirt  you name it, I love it and have to have it. So before you head out to your favorite denim boutique, take a look at these four denim trends you should rock now.

Okay, the Canadian Tuxedo is officially a fashion do. The key to avoid looking like the Hatfields and the McCoys is to not go monochromatic. Pair lights and dark together and also mix textures, think thin chambray on top and heavier indigo on bottom for full dd affect and yet still fashion forward.

Gray Matters

Colored denim is always a favorite of mine but I am really crazy about gray denim. There is something so sleek about gray denim that can give you that casual chic like no other. A white button down shirt and a gray pair of jeans screams subtle fierce.

Distressed Denim

Don't call 911, distressed denim is actually a good thing.  Giving you a little 1990s flashback but all bad ass, distressed comes in many  varieties from subtle to super ripped. It's also a great DIY project with some sandpaper.

Flare on Fleek

Okay, I just wanted to use fleek, don't laugh but flare jeans come into trend every decade and always make you look taller, slimmer and sleeker. Like distressed, you can get super flare and look like you are channeling your inner Superfly or you can get a slight bootcut hem that gives you just enough of that throwback look.
